Why Work With Us?

Conifer Arborist and Forestry Consulting was established to provide professional advice and guidance to tree and forestland owners on how they can best care for and protect the health and value of  their trees and forests. 

 

Conifer Arborist and Forestry Consulting, LLC is operated by John Walkowiak, President who is an ISA Certified Arborist MW-0132A, ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualifications (TRAQ), SAF Certified Forester #46, SAF Certified Urban and Community Forester, and a USDA NRCS Technical Service Provider TSP-23-24618.


He is a graduate forester with a BS in Forest Resources Management from SUNY College of  Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse and an MS in Forest Resources from the University of New  Hampshire.  


John has over 40 years of providing professional arborist and forestry services across southern New  England, the states of Iowa, Nebraska, Montana and Washington working with private  homeowners, forest landowners, developers, construction contractors, volunteer organizations, private industry, and federal, state and local government  agencies.  


He is a member of the following organizations: 

• Society of American Foresters, since 1978, Fellow 2013 

• International Society of Arboriculture, since 1990 

• Washington Farm Forestry Association 

• Washington State Tree Farm Inspector
