"We had two trees on our property and were concerned if they posed a risk to our home. We requested John to assess the health of the trees and provide us advice on next steps. One of the trees was a large bigleaf maple and John was able to identify and communicate several ailments with the tree that raised concerns. Firstly, John was able to deduce that the main trunk of the tree had fallen and was replaced by six more unstable trunks. He also identified that some of the trunks were rotten on the inside and another one showed signs of fungal infection. Upon cutting the tree we realized the extent of the rot inside the tree and were glad that we had the tree removed while we still had the chance. John provided excellent advice on how to take care of a Crimson King maple also located on our property. He also provided great advice on how to plant and take care of newly planted trees. In our interaction with John, we found him to be very approachable and knowledgeable and would definitely recommend him as an Arborist."

"John, thank you very much for guiding me through the recertification of my forestland as a Tree Farm in the American Tree Farm System. Since the last recertification, the standards had changed quite a bit and you made sure I understood them and their importance in good forest management. Very importantly, you made sure my Forest Management Plan accurately reflects the revised standards, in spirit and deed. You even came out on Christmas Eve to make sure the renewal was submitted by the deadline! You and your family are always welcome to visit."

"John, thanks again for the seminar on pruning today! I feel prepared to tackle the red bud & maple trees in the back that have never seen a pruning (!).
